Latin Dance

A weekend of Latin dance and creation where through the various disciplines of Salsa, Cumbria, Bachata and Merengue, you will learn to reconnect to your emotions and pulsate with them through dance & body.

March 2-3

$300.000 COP

Led by two of Bogotá’s most renowned teachers, the weekend will encourage self expression through the learning of the various Latin rhythms such as Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and more. Be prepared to join passionate dancing, all the whilst you will be nourished by wholesome and delightful meals and bathe in the picturesque setting of Cultivarte surrounded by views of the Andes mountains.

 

Places are limited.

OFFERINGS INCLUDE

  • A total of 12 hours of movement and Latin flavour including:

- Latin rythmes
- Basic technic for pair dance
- Musical and Sensitive exploration of the Latin rhythm
- Yoga
- Gaga (dance therapy)
- Rumba dirigida (Led Party)

  • 2 Vegetarian meals a day with option for Vegan upon request.

  • Fully equipped accommodation with shared bathroom

  • An abundance of Nature


OFFERINGS DON’T INCLUDE

  • Transport from and to Bogotá. This can be arranged at an additional cost of $50.000 both ways depending on the amount of people interested.

  • Breakfast on Saturday 3rd of March & Dinner on Sunday 4th of March


WHAT TO BRING

  • Comfortable clothes.

  • Insect repellent (we do sell a natural repellent) Sunscreen

  • A pair of long trousers and a T-shirt with long sleeves.

ABOUT THE TEACHERS

 

ALEX BARETO
With over 15 years of Dance experience, having taught in several Salsa Academies in Bogota and founder of the Bata group; Alex is a passionate dancer who lives entirely by his profession. Be prepared to be swept by his charm and leave with a few new moves up your sleeves.

GISELA GIRALDO
Social communicator and journalist with a diploma in Emotional Intelligence and a certificate in Transformational Coaching, Gisela has been an avid practitioner and explorer of dance and movement for the past 15 years. She is a free-thinker and her approach is flexible with an in depth respect for life and it’s beings.

TIMING
The workshop begins on Saturday 3rd of March at 9am.
Please give yourself time to arrive to the farm prior to 9am so that we can begin on time.


The workshop will end on Sunday 4th March at 3pm the only thing we need from you is your presence and openness. ❤️
