ABOUT CULTIVARTE

Cultivarte is an eco-center for ecology, wellness, fiscal disciplines and community, thriving in a beautiful mango farm in the countryside of exotic Colombia, 80km from Bogota and 15 minutes from a peaceful village called Anapoima . Cultivarte is blessed with perennial warm weather, plenty of tropical fruits and lively nature all around. We receive enthusiastic visitors from all over the world, all year round.
CONSTRUCTION OF OUR HOUSE

When we first bought our land, there was an abandoned bamboo house in which only the bats lived. We had proposals from various architects to demolish the house completely and build from scratch. However, we decided that we wanted to work with the original house in order to reduce costs and waste.
We teamed up with bamboo expert / architect Jaime Peña and his crew, who helped us to make the dream of building our house with our own hands come true. The result was amazing.
During most of the building process there were only three of us working on the house, with only basic tools and no sophisticated machinery. In total, it took about one and half years to finish the house.
Working with bamboo was such an amazing experience that we fell in love with it. This is why we plan on utilizing bamboo in as many future projects as possible.

We are a young couple who left the city in search of an alternative lifestyle in the middle of nature, where the air is fresher, the sky bluer, and where time passes slower. We want to live life to the fullest, in harmony with nature and the people around us.

We see ourselves as a link between nature and the modern world. We believe that we can take the best of the two worlds and create a brand new world which is superior.

We are admirers of nature and we want to immerse ourselves in it. We want to go back to the basics, grow our own vegetables, and learn about the different cutting-edge technologies for harvesting the sun.
